I felt very fortunate to represent the Salinas group and speak in front of everyone.
We told our audience (public policy makers, public health officials, education leaders, representatives from non-profit organizations, etc.) what we learned in our project, why it's important, and our recommendations for the future.
We were highly praised, and our information was welcomed. Everyone embraced us, our project, and what we had to say. Our video was shown, and afterwards we got to answer questions from the audience and mingle with everyone.
Thank you for a great afternoon!

Congratulations. Could someone contact me, it would be great to include this local information in the Hartnell, Nutrition course. The fall 2009 class will be studying adolescent nutrition in approximately 4-5 weeks. Elsa Ramirez-Brisson, MPH, RD, adjunct faculty, ebrisson@hartnell.edu or 831-753-7071
